The moose in Mellunmäki

Not a long time ago, I was walking the dogs with my mum and going shopping. We had just walked past the hill when we heard a loud rustling sound behind us. We both turned around, assuming some strange person from a random yard taking a shortcut, but it was a moose :D Mum started terribly panicking but so did the moose. We took off running with the dogs towards the shop and did not have time to see which way the moose went.  

At home we saw a piece of news in Hesari or some other paper about the moose that had actually run in the same direction as us, run onto the roof of the very shop in which I did the shopping. The moose had reportedly fallen from the roof and been so hurt that the police had to finish it off.

Of course this encounter evoked thoughts, especially from the viewpoint of the moose who had, after all, come up to Mellunmäki, in the middle of humans and traffic. Surely the last moments were tough :(
