Something like a chestnut

Multispecies storytelling exercise 1:

Something like a chestnut, fallen from a tree…

The object had a strong grip because of its sticky and soft shell, allowing me a deep connection with this organic spherule. The object felt valuable, and I felt like touching its “innards” all the time.

It was like a tiny friend, to whom I could well have talked to. It felt animate. I would like to have more of these, in my hand or at home on the windowsill. It would also be fun to put one of these into a glass of water and observe its “metamorphosis”. All in all, a calming organic creature, which was easy to make contact with.
