The earthworms

When I was seven years old and on my way home from school after a rainy day, a record number of earthworms popped up as I walked. There, counting the vast amount of worms, I got an idea to gather up the worms, so that my mother would believe my story. Naturally, I began collecting the worms in my new backpack. The catch of dozens of worms didn’t get the rightful appreciation as I arrived home.
