Doki and the eggs

Researcher: “What is your idea for the wax animation?”

Child: “So there’s this dog called just Doki. And they meet a cat whose name I don’t know and then the cat comes over to Doki and then they eat those bird's eggs they found on the roof.”

Another child: “Yeah and then this cat decides to move in there and builds a house next to it.”

Researcher: “You mean next to this Doki’s house or? Do they know each other from before?”

Child: “No.”

Another child: “Now this just happens to come there.”

Researcher: “So do those eggs appear onto the roof every day? What if they forget to eat an egg? What happens then?”

Child: “Then they hatch. They are doves.”

Researcher: “All right. What kind of dog is this Doki, actually?”

Child: “They have been in a car crash. That’s why they have legs in this kind of rollator. I was thinking that people always have normal dogs, so then I wanted to have something different here.”

Researcher: “What is Doki’s house like?”

Child: “Well, it’s pretty simple. There is a plant, a carpet, a pan, a picture, and a bed.”

Researcher: “Was the pan for cooking the eggs?”

Child: “Yes. They fry them.”

Researcher: “Where did you get this idea about those eggs and other stuff?”

Child: “I don’t know. I just made it up. I just made an egg there and then I thought they could eat it. Then there were many of them.”
